My response

A thought occurs
in response to something
Internal or external
I do not know

I want to expand it
am struck by words
closest to my state of mind
…there begins the flow

I may have altered reality
somewhere in the process
but it starts taking shape
those seeds I did sow…

I speak or write
leveraging the privilege
of language, till I get
My thoughts in a row.
