Reena’s Exploration Challenge #94

Seasons change, so do people and relationships. What remains constant is the process of churning out thoughts – some mundane, some innovative and some creative – but it is energy nevertheless, energy which powers the world. So, here we are in another tiny capsule of time, reproducing snapshots of our thought process in this space. Welcome to Week 94!

PROMPT

You may choose either the picture or the words or both, and let it take you wherever it does.

Please credit the photographer if you choose the picture as your prompt.

FOR THE NEW ENTRANTS

As usual, there is no restriction on the format or length of the piece. You can get as creative and innovative as you want.

Write a post on your blog, and link it up here with a pingback, or copy-paste the blog link in Comments. Tag it Reena’s Exploration Challenge for easy access in the Blog Roll.

I eagerly await your responses.

    1. English translation –

      What is true –
      denial on your lips?
      acceptance in the eyes?

      What is real –
      my fear of rejection?
      inability to handle Yes?

      Puzzled by
      different wavelengths
I admire beauty from afar …

  1. This sounds cool! However, I have a request. I notice this is a picture prompt, but you said there are also words (or a prompt word) to inspire you. As I am blind and my screen reader doesn’t read text inside images, could you please type out the prompt word(s) too? I would love to participate.

    1. Thanks for letting me know! I will take care next time.

The words here are ‘Truth and Meaning’. The picture shows a human face, an elephant and floral patterns etched on four different objects. These objects are actually handmade soaps a friend makes, and I found the designs intriguing.
