Newcomb’s Pradox

A paradoxical game between two players, one of whom can predict the actions of the other.

My take

 I sought sanctuary
 in silence
 to escape predictiveness 
 of your words -ringing 
 like an outdated cassette
 on auto-replay mode
  
 I sought solace
 in becoming a stranger
 once again
 to escape the burden
 of knowing 
 what I don’t like
  
 I sought refuge
 in my own shell
 increasing the distance
 where intimacy
 never existed
