insanity
raises its head again
-hallucinations
-dark accusations
of things that happen
only in the victim’s mind -but hell raised
for all those who breathe under the same roof
insanity
a different level
of mind’s existence
-unbridgeable wedge
between normal minds
and shadows who believe they are real
torture themselves , others to gather proof
This is incredibly potent. I especially like the image; “unbridgeable wedge between normal minds and shadows.” 💝💝

The extreme difficulties of mental illness….living with the person. You’ve captured it well here. I agree with Rob…this was unsettling.

Mental illness indeed affects the lives of those who must live under the same roof; a torture for all in many ways.

This was unsettling Reena. As a child, I lived with just such an unfortunate soul hovering over my life. It was terrifying and perplexing. Well written.

Reena, so true. Mental illness can turn Halloween from a holiday into a daily nightmare — for the sufferer and for the loved ones. Wonderful articulation of the reality and in the duodora form at that! Candy corn bonus achieved.
