Unsung

The wall art on the street was a tourist attraction. The blue bicycle parked opposite the wall remained largely ignored, despite the eye-catching color. It was perhaps parked at a wrong spot, and managed to escape penalty.

A writer kept visiting the spot daily for two weeks, and noticed that the bicycle had not moved. A black framework appeared behind the cycle. It was a silent story – a tribute to the artist who disappeared, never to return again. The saddest part of the story was that there was no-one in the world to look for him. Certain lives go unsung….
