“What does it have to do with this bottle?” My left arm was around her, as I held the empty bottle in the right.
“It is this plastic at the bottom of the sea which causes floods.

The dialogue is concise and yet discloses attitudes. The message comes through, but we’re left with tension and decision unresolved. Which is where the readers will be, one way or the other. This is successful work, if I may say so.
