intensity
of air
changing from
life-giving warmth
to scalding heat
signifies
stratospheric rumblings
sunrays battling clouds
to get beneath
your skin and mine
life is not easy
for anyone anywhere
summers bring it out
in the open

Interesting switch. If I thought of the hardest season it would be winter. I like the contrast implied in the poem.

Actually, it is about the temperature, not the labels that we give. Summer for you may be 18 degrees celsius, and 47 for us.
