ohhhh…..we all do have those days! Somehow, I always think, if we could just slow the merry-go-round down a bit, we could jump off, or at least sit on the bench that, even though it goes round and round, it doesn’t also go up and down! 🙂

Your poem has lines with two accented syllables separated by the rhyme pattern. Although the last line has four accented syllables, the rhyme ties it together as one line and makes the extra syllables an interesting break in the pattern. Nicely done.
