(Un)seasonal (Un)systematic

Start-ups are the flavour of the decade. Some have dropped, as ‘so last season’. Some race ahead, but I wonder if they will get beyond spring. The summer will pose difficult challenges and ask probing questions. There will be no place to hide.

I am horrified at the manner in which organizations can work without a structure. Flexible job descriptions are written, but mutual dependencies from one step to another are not chalked out. There is massive duplication and replication of effort. Appreciation precedes performance. Potential overrides experience. And everything goes haywire.

What would have been our fate, if God had designed Nature in this manner? I ask questions, but I am ‘oh, so old-fashioned’.
