Welcome back!
PROMPT #273
In this week, I’d like you to spare one minute to watch this video and reflect on it. Give it a little more time if you struggle to understand or agree with it.
Then, start banging the keyboard and type whatever comes to mind. Let it be ‘stream of consciousness’ writing.
Here’s the video
There is no restriction on format of the piece. There is no last date either, unless you wish to be featured in the Weekly Wrap.
Any post that is found to be offensive, vulgar or something that hurts common sensibilities will not be included. This needs to be a safe space.

Hello Reena! I found your shared video very thought-provoking. It made me realize that most of the time, I chase after happiness, thinking that it exists somewhere else, not in the present moment. I have always believed that happiness lies in achieving certain goals, acquiring material possessions, or being in certain situations. However, that video made me realize that this chase for happiness is actually making me more distant from it.
The idea that happiness can only exist in the present moment resonated with me. It made me realize that I need to focus on living in the present moment instead of chasing after some elusive future state of happiness. That video also made me realize that the surest way of experiencing more happiness in our lives is to focus more on the happiness of others. This was an eye-opener for me because I had always believed that happiness is something that one needs to acquire for oneself. But now I understand that by focusing on the happiness of others, I can be more present, empathetic, and open-minded, which in turn will bring more happiness to me.
I also found it interesting how focusing on the happiness of others can benefit both others and myself. By being more present and empathetic, I can build better relationships with people, which in turn will make me happier. It’s a win-win situation where everyone benefits.
Overall, the video made me realize that I need to change my mindset from chasing after happiness to being present and focusing on the happiness of others. I am grateful for this realization as it will help me live a more fulfilling and happy life.
Thank you for sharing the video with all of us. 👍👏👌😊
