You wanted to be an astronaut, but ended up becoming a pilot. I’m proud of my daughter, but the wistfulness in your eyes haunts me, as I catch you staring at outer space.
Our existence and our capacity to dream deserves to be celebrated, before aiming further. It was just yesterday we blew bubbles together, and talked about your career plans.
The news of your plane crashing in the sea paralyzes me, but I know you won’t stay under water for long. Your soul is up there in a balloon floating between stars, your life cannot end in a bubble.

A beautiful tribute by the father

Good to know that. Seeing less of you online is a matter of concern.
