lacks relevance
on another day

I go back in search
of lost pieces
angrily chucked in the bin
find that shapes and textures
fit or don’t fit
like Yang and Yin

virgin puzzles carry
blankness of infinity
music without rhyme
innocence of white boards
to be destroyed
by stories written in time
