The world looks so different from here. But what separates me from it is still a haze… I’m not sure if what I think or infer is right.
The people who hurt me are floating around, showing me unknown aspects of their existence … unknown to me that is… altering my view totally. Is revenge needed?
And that inverted mirror lying there… The mercury is partially scraped off. Who resides there? What is real and what’s not?
Does it make sense to revisit the place?
My intelligence and judgment seem to have left me, just like my body. I’m lost.
That hazy feeling sounds like the brain fog of mental instability. Trauma is such a bastard making it hard to navigate life.

Trauma embedded in the subconscious is more dangerous.

Deliciously surreal, Reena. Wonder what she will choose to do.

Move away from the body she has already left.

Sounds like a combo of paranoia and psychosis. Hoping it passes for the MC. Having solid grounding would help them, but in that state few things feel solid…

Yet, I think an OBE would be great.

OBE = out-of-body experience??

Yes. Read the last line of the piece again. The protagonist is either dead or having an OBE

Ah! I saw it another way, but that’s the beauty of fiction…

Nothing is real. “All that we see or seem//Is but a dream within a dream.”
Well done, Reena.

This is beautiful. Sort of supports Musk’s simulation theory ☺️

there is a surreal feeling in your story, as if ghost are haunting the scene.
