Why focus on wealth or beauty?
It can be crass or superficial
Thoughts, manners make you
what you are, what you’ll be
It’s all in the total personality
the only thing that’s beneficial
ensure that it’s deeply ingrained
Then where am I without memory?
How could you miss the criticality
of something that can’t be artificial
I am what I am – as far I can recall
beyond that lies the risk of treachery
Crossing boundaries kills identity
It’s only memory that’s official
Memories are so important for what we are.

If we all only existed in the now, we’d all be morons, incapable of learning; even robots need memory to function.
