The setting is the same as it was years ago.
A meal for two, a phone that cannot be put on mute and a mind ready to devour a story…..
Televisions are passe. Netflix can be accessed from any screen.
What if the phone rings?
Hit the Pause button, tell the caller about the excitement and suspense building up, and go back to viewing.
“I still prefer a large screen to watch, and a small phone to mute.”
My partner is insistent. To each his own…
“But promise … no interrupting video calls. I’m in my night clothes without make-up.”
This is our situation at home too! 🙂

There are so many choices to occupy our screen time now. That produces more differences of opinion. As you say, different temperaments.

I miss the old phone calls. Sometimes keeping in touch can get a bit too close.

Those phones did not have a caller id. So all calls were picked up. 😃😃
