carefully nurtured
only to wither away
they spread love, fragrance
flowers teach many lessons
about loving, letting go
Poetics: Garden(ing)
carefully nurtured
only to wither away
they spread love, fragrance
flowers teach many lessons
about loving, letting go
Poetics: Garden(ing)
Oh that’s true! They bloom and then they leave us, to find their own way.

They do indeed teach us about loving and letting go……..an endless cycle.

I’ll add to it – If they come back, they are yours. Else, it was a karmic contract that ended.

Yes. Nature can teach us so much. My oldest is going away to college this year so we are one step closer to being empty nesters ourselves. We have to make the most of the time we have with them whether it’s our children or if it’s our flowers
