Poetics: Stepping Off the Sidewalk







 

 I changed the day 
 They saw me
 giving new dimensions
 to my reality
 
 the core remains unchanged
 yet, the halo is not a part of me
 
 I strive to stay with it
 clinging halo….
 it won’t let go of me
 
 I check back to see
if new colours 
change the landscape
 is there something more
 I need to live up to?
 

 I go back, check my hard core
 find the software has changed
 if genes can mutate with action
