Shades of meaning

“Power lies in changing the shape of the skyline”, said the star architect.

“It can change in a few minutes, and go viral,” silently though the military chief.

“How will it help me?” calculates the politician.

A few strokes of the brush change colours, and the artist smiles, “What are the clouds made of?”

“How do I capture limitlessness of the sky beyond the confines of a page?” ponders the writer.

shed all frameworks
see how insignificant
you seem to be
we create boundaries
to define ourselves

The Big Bang gave us smaller worlds, to lend a meaning to existence.

  1. ‘Boundaries to define ourselves’ – you couldn’t be more correct! We have these images of who we are and what we want to be…but those images also box us into being something that, as we grow, we may not be. Brilliant introspection as always – thank you for joining us again this week 🖤
