I agree with you. I would stay in the original home. Many years ago there was a house that I wanted so badly that they were tearing down. I was trying to find a way to maybe move it to a piece of property. Due to lack of communication it came down before I got an answer.

I know if the area that I live they are clearing tons of areas for solar panels. I wonder if they leave enough room for wildlife. I mean that would almost be ideal to keep them safe.

I’m glad she had the courage to go with her convictions – though the library would have tempted me sorely! The Sepia tints / Ammonia prints bit was a nice touch too.

I lived in a 400-year-old pub, and the maintenance costs were enormous. Would I have replaced it with something new? No way!
