Reena’s Exploration Challenge #137

Welcome back!

I hope you are all getting used to the new normal, and even welcoming it as a fountain of creativity. The next few years will see a lot of art, literature and drama being dedicated to the new normal.

We are always in a process of change. While we were still struggling to understand augmented and virtual reality, a totally new dimension of reality emerged. Conferencing platforms have become the meeting place for celebrations as well as rituals surrounding death. People reconnect in new ways. I’m amused to see family members above 80 years of age, learn to handle the medium and make short speeches on the screen.

What does it all do to a writer’s sensibilities?

PROMPT #137

I give below three phrases

  1. Writer’s platform
  2. Writer’s Cave
  3. Writer’s Reality

Choose one or more to elaborate on your writing journey – not necessarily through this phase. It could be anything that happened before, or you foresee as happening after this.

Look forward to a voyeuristic insight into brilliant minds….

As usual, there is no restriction on length or format of the piece. Write a post on your blog, and copy-paste the link here.

If you are choosing a pingback, please check if it has worked. There have been instances of pingbacks not working in the past. Tag it ‘Reena’s Exploration Challenge’ for easy location in the blog roll.

    1. tales of love being recounted
      a poet’s truth – reality mocked

      unveiling – without being warned
ask how the world can rock

      hearts sliced without a sword
      elegance of eyes being locked

      betrayal followed so faithfully
on a steady path, truth walks

I would’ve opened all the gates
if I knew which grievance blocked
