We, the heroes ….. by Aishwarya
Running away from,
A situation,
Giving up on,
Our dreams,
Dejected by a,
Setback,
Losing hope,
Over loved ones,
We would have done at some time or the other.
Looking up to somebody,
No doubt, would inspire,
But sometimes, the sheer magnitude,
Would make us doubt our own capabilities,
And leave us only with dejection,
Forgetting the long journey we have travelled,
Things we have accomplished.
It’s only when we realise,
We are the heroes,
Of our everyday life,
When we,
Battle against the odds,
Strengthen our dreams with hope and action,
Fight a tear and move on,
Turn back, only for the lessons,
And march forward with strength in self,
That a desired change, would come about.
