Playing with words (phrases)

Special thanks to hecblogger (Amit Agrawal) at https://playingwithwords.blog/

for eight responses on https://reinventionsreena.wordpress.com/2019/11/07/reenas-exploration-challenge-112/

I’ve compiled all here. You may visit his blog (link given above) for reading other pieces.

Question your maps

if
you
do not
manage to
find your destiny
question your maps, not the journey

Crumbling Thoughts

I
am
trying
to hold on
to my crumbling thoughts
should I save ‘love’ or ‘sanity’

Was that really me?

one
look
at you
I wonder
that guy who loved you
that fool- was that really me

Cynical assertions

all your cynical assertions
fail to convince me
that it was
somehow
my
fault

Pregnant Pause

do
not
let a
pregnant pause
linger for too long
it gives birth to misconceptions

Potential of emptiness

the
days
are full
of longing
my long nights are but
potential of emptiness

Pockets of stillness

your
love
has been
turbulent
ride for me so far
heart yearns for pockets of stillness

Lost Alphabet

love
used
to have
a language
of its own – no more;
cupid mourns the lost alphabet
