I see a few curious glances darting in my direction, but they soon get busy with their game. I am seen as a stranger in this part of the state. I hope the caretakers do not suspect that I’m a kidnapper, as I stare at the kids unabashedly.
They laugh at me, as I slide down from one of the structures, and land with a thud, slightly disoriented.
“Hey.. you are too big for that.”
“Can you imagine I was once as tiny as you are – carefree and innocent?”
floating through my eyes
images – lost childhood
beckons once again
I too thought he was a kidnapper! It’s not your usual style – but I love that you left it open to interpretation 🖤 Thank you for joining us again this week!

A nice tale, even though his intentions are evil, nice to know that he hasn’t lost the child in him.

The intentions are not evil. He fears being viewed as such.
