dreams lie beyond
Sun and Moon
-challenged
by light years
-uneclipsed
by hopelessness
-fired
by courage
I will lower
the stratosphere -or
grow tall enough
to peek into the rough
and tumble
of imagination
ready to face
the unseen
I hope
to find something
worthwhile
-else
conversion of nothing
to something
will become
a new challenge
Challenged

So many lines I wish were mine! Exceptional poetry, Reena.

Beautiful, Reena. The month started with poems, switched to prose, and this is a lovely transition into poetry again. Thanks so much for taking up the prompt. I’ll get it lined up to share. ❤
