She chokes as the prickly fingers gather around her, moving fast to remould her existence. Her attempts at escape are thwarted by new arms sprouting up, like the tentacles of an octopus. No wonder he is worshipped as a genius life-giver.
However, she wants to lead her own life, not the one ‘given’. The character wants to breathe free – outside the writer’s imagination.
