by love-filled hearts

stars in the eyes

Life –

a game of cards

with unexpected deals

shows and surrenders,

bearing the brunt

of clubs and spades

awaiting emergence

of jokers in the pack

Life –

A game of chess

where we are pawns

masquerading as queens

manipulated by Kings
