starkness of branches
mourn incompatibility
with silvery opulence
of season’s offerings
warm teardrops
mourn inadequacy
to thaw snowy hearts
celebrating solitude
layers of foliage
await their turn – to
play with sun and shade
and fascinate those who care
I especially love the imagery of the second stanza.

Solitude is essential for reflections. But we need to take time off our screens too, for original thoughts to emerge, not just reflections.
