Frustration

starkness of branches
mourn incompatibility
with silvery opulence
of season’s offerings

warm teardrops
mourn inadequacy
to thaw snowy hearts
celebrating solitude

layers of foliage
await their  turn – to
play with sun and shade
and fascinate those who care
