I am in search of that one new thing which can be framed to define my life. But then, I realize I need a hi-tech kaleidoscope of moving images. Photo frames are now a thing of the past.

I have found that there is also a trend of downloading all the photos posted for a given year into to a picture book. Several companies offer the service. It’s a nice way of saving photos in an easily accessible medium. I agree, picture frames seem to be a thing of the past. Though I still have a framed photo of my grandchildren on my desk at work. I guess I’m old fashioned. π

Yes. Blookup converts FB and Instagram feeds into books. There are rotating devices for an electronic display of chosen images too.

Yes, framing the pictures to hang on the walls seems to be dying away now. I think people are satisfied by posting their pictures online.

Yes. Needs less maintenance, but backups are important. Snapchat and Stories propagate a different value system.

That is right but if the pictures are stored somewhere on the computer or hard drive,one seldom looks at them.
