Do I call it a fog or haze? It forms a barrier between my eyes and the world around me, but leaves a small part exposed.
Does that object have a fog-proof veneer around it? Or my vision can selectively penetrate certain objects, to leave out others? Is it a kind of 3D projection, or augmented reality? Has the artist’s brush painted the landscape in different shades? Closer up, I see a boy and girl kissing. Perhaps, it is their declaration of love to the world.
Suddenly, I see the object changing shape and outlines getting blurred. There is another part of the world which looks clearer.
I love my perspective
even dare to believe in it
but there is so much out there
to influence, to manipulate
I cannot be an island
A perfect analogy, Reena.

I read more than one thing going on in this. The ambiguity of situation is akin to the fog… or haze you paint.

You are right. There is a metaphor running through it. Understanding depends on vision, mindset and projection of a situation. Thanks!
