Communism Returns

“Can we paint the balcony in a different color?” I felt suffocated by the sight of similar-looking boxes.

“I grew up in a commune, where individualism was not permitted”

Shucks …. that was my grandmom again, laying down laws which nobody liked. I gave Dad a pensive look,

“For how many days are we going to stay with her?”

“Till I find employment …. but till then, Communism returns. Her father was a Maoist. She divorced my father, because they had different political alignments.”
