Suspicious

There was something ominous about that number.

She was too young, then, and her mother refused to give any details later. They used to meet a man in jail, with 100 printed on his shirt. He looked suspiciously like the man in her late father’s portrait. But her Dad was a nobleman.

  1. It is always so interesting the things that our young minds retain. I can remember flashes of things from when I was very young. Some of them make no sense. I can relate to this. 🙂
