Imagination

I had an idea

And I thought

It was brilliant.

But there was so much

to contradict.

right inside me

and out there.

The mind flitted

one thought to another

till it settled on a branch.

Amazingly,

it found roots in that tree.

and watered it

untiringly.

The water seeped through

to more roots in the vicinity,

and carried me

to a beautiful garden.

I discovered

the beauty of fluidity

and ideas bloomed.

Those Eureka moments

named Magic or Meditation.

emerge only if

you shed confining garments

of tradition.

Call it moonwalking

or imagination.
