Just that one

He barely managed to park his car in the narrow, crowded street and step out on the sidewalk.

A few young faces acknowledged his celebrity status and asked for selfies. Some others just threw curious glances at him, and moved on. He secretly wished that the pictures would go viral, and the residents of that town knew of his presence.

A budding career that started from Radio City had gone international. His life had zoomed into a higher space. The only reason for his return here was to verbalize an apology.

He fervently wished to see that face, just once.
