She was the heiress to a fortune. Some pictures floated in her mind, as she lost consciousness β her husbandβs insistence on honeymooning in Switzerland, asking about her financial assets, and his expression on seeing her fall in the snow.
The distance between them had been growing, and was now β UNBRIDGEABLE.
