Once upon a time
ideas and strength
rocked the world
I watch the swag
and fleeting glory
of rock stars today
with mild amusement
sprinkled with
a little disdain.
Concepts change
values outlive themselves
the world’s a stage
where hollowness
is having its day.

This seems to be true in all aspects of society. With the coming of artificial intelligence there won’t be a smart one left in the bunch! Great poem.

So much fabrication all around us, the latest, the greatest….I believe we will come full circle back to the basics of the real world, in order to survive.

Yes indeed. Hollowness, ego, writing for money instead of love….we are in the midst of quick sand.

There are no superstars in the true sense now, just people looking for their fifteen minutes, days or months of fame.

Oh in the end it does. It always does. I am more certain of this than the ground I walk on and the air I breathe even though those may fall away.

It seems like shifting sand when hollowness tries to rock the world.
