I envy the power of water, and its ability to switch forms.
My hand has been scalded by steam. Application of ice provided some relief. And then, the doctor asked me to keep the hand away from water for some time. The same composition of hydrogen and oxygen has a different impact, in different physical states.
Our senses decide the level of acceptability of a force. The locus of control lies within us. Yet, we feel powerless, because nature appears to know what we can or cannot take, and pushes our buttons accordingly. Our meteorological and environmental scientists make desperate attempts, but have achieved very little success. We know the science of the elements but cannot control human behavior.
we luxuriate
air-conditioned environs
tangibility
we stay unaware
of nature’s potential
invisibility
nature touches all
senses with its elements
connectivity
Excellent prose about the dual nature of water. The poem at the end is nice as well.
