He was on the last leg of his journey to the airport. The plane would take off in another four hours. He held the family jewels closely to his bosom, and dreamt insolently of life in the land of opportunities. The driver muttered under his breath as he swiftly moved to the left, wondering why the jeep had been following them for so long.

The sound of gunshots was deafening, as the car bounced off the road. Somebody had fired at the car tyre and missed it. His fading vision recognized the face of his wife in the jeep behind.

  1. Clutching to his bosom….you’re already communicating his fear of being caught, of being found out…excellent perspective on the image, but I’d love to see him be swooped up by an ambulance or otherwise saved to continue the tale 😉 Thank you for joining us again this week 🙂
