Pathways

The book I just finished reading ‘In Other Words’ by Jhumpa Lahiri. The book is about her mental journey in learning Italian, and the efforts to embrace the language as her own. She is an Indian brought up in America, who won the Pulitzer prize for the book, “Interpretation of Maladies”. Her novel “The Namesake” has been adapted into a popular film of the same name.

The last paragraph reveals that the book was originally written in Italian, and translated by someone else.
