Objects de Art

Material things I own

are external manifestations

of innermost desires

and forbidden longings

overlapping, clashing, competing

to find the truest version

I try so hard to conceal

inside the skull and bones

beauty in a jar

vanity of designer togs

play hide-and-seek

with the ugliness of childhood

The high end furniture

objects de art

effectively cover

the contorted self

hollowness acquires

gigantic proportions

to occupy physical space

in subconscious expressions
