The Psychopath

“Tell me”, he said, “pour out your heart”. He was the most attentive listener she had met in a long time. He was the savior, with assurances to resolve all her problems. He was leading her up the garden path.

And then ….. she was taken aback by his vitriolic wit, tearing her apart. She had not anticipated the roller coaster ride which she had embarked on, with him.

Charming flashes of

his beguiling smile

promising the world.

The psychopath is out

to play the same game again.
