The greyness looming on the horizon does not bother me. I just carry my glow to another zone. The clouds will come and go, and display their unusual shapes against different backgrounds.
Nature and destiny have set certain rules. Everybody deserves to have their time, and their downtime, without threatening the presence of another. The night relaxes the world with a beauty of its own, and yet, makes my absence conspicuous.
Graceful in exit
gold dissolving in water
intensifying
its presence through reflection
unmindful of clouds.

I love this. In particular ‘makes my absence conspicuous’. Don’t know why. It just touches me.

Lovely haibun, Reena. I love the last line of the prose.
